Allen Meadows - Score: 94-96 (2022 January)

A slightly riper combination is comprised by the essence of black cherry and poached plum combined with an array of spice, floral, earth and wood nuances. Here too there is strikingly good intensity to the elegant but punchy medium weight plus flavors that exude almost as much minerality on the powerful, focused and hugely long and highly refreshing finale. The harmony and balance are impressive, and this too should prove to be very long-lived, even in the context of a wine that routinely repays several decades of cellaring.
